Since the late 1990’s, Nolan Meats has worked with Gympie State High School to develop future leaders in red meat processing by supporting students in the agriculture classroom in the morning and providing hands-on experience in the afternoon.

Attending a small local school in Mary Valley, 16-year-old Robert George, wasn’t sure what he wanted to do, so he signed up for a 2-week holiday job at Nolan Meats in Gympie.

Meet Nikita Ellison, a 24-year-old Sustainability Coordinator at Nolan Meats in Gympie who has pursued her dream career in red meat processing.
